Installation takes just a couple of hours and requires no special tools.
It is recommended to cut the OEM roof panel leaving one inch intact all around, then sand with 120 grit and leave free of dust, then sand one inch all around the bottom of our replacement piece manually with 80 grit and leave free of dust to proceed to apply epoxy glue of your choice.
Options: "FULL CARBON FIBER" / "HYBRID" / "RACING".
The "HYBRID" version (carbon fiber on the main face and filled with fiberglass in the back layers = 40% carbon fiber + 60% fiberglass) offers the same appearance and finish as a "FULL CARBON FIBER" version. The difference between the two options is minimal in terms of weight/strength. Both options are lighter than OEM parts because they are manufactured using vacuum infusion techniques, removing unnecessary excess resin and air from the part and compacting the material layers as much as possible.
"RACING" : Made with fiberglass + 1 extra layer of carbon fiber around its entire circumference (360°) for greater strength, manufactured with the same vacuum infusion techniques. for those looking for a more affordable price and to save weight.
We recommend using the "FULL CARBON FIBER" or "RACING "(FIBERGLASS) version to lose as much weight as possible (approximately 35-60% depending on the part) for racing projects.The "HYBRID" version is slightly less lightweight and only slightly less rigid than the "FULL CARBON FIBER" version, but it is also lighter compared to the original part you wish to replace.
